Inaugural Fari Islands Festival Concludes with Music, Creativity, and Culinary Mastery

The first-ever Fari Islands Festival has officially concluded, leaving an indelible mark on the Maldives’ cultural calendar. Held from 19–22 September 2025 across The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Patina Maldives, and Fari Marina Village, the three-day event brought together global talent and visionary creators in a unique celebration of music, art, gastronomy, wellness, and sustainability.

The festival unfolded across both properties, with each day themed around five core pillars: Culinary Artistry, Sonic Immersion, Nature Amplified, Body, Mind & Soul, and Creative Artistry. Guests moved between private workshops, cultural showcases, and intimate dining moments.

Guests were immersed in a dynamic programme featuring evocative poetry performances by bestselling author Rupi Kaur, transformative wellness sessions curated by Bamford, and hands-on artistic workshops with Singapore’s STPI.

Culinary highlights included exclusive dining experiences led by Tokyo’s acclaimed WAGYUMAFIA collective and wellness-focused creations by nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson, alongside cocktail artistry from award-winning bars Danico and Nutmeg & Clove.

The festival also spotlighted nature and conservation, with guided snorkelling expeditions led by National Geographic Explorer Gibbs Kuguru and marine initiatives by the Olive Ridley Project. Sustainability and community were at the heart of the programme, reflecting Fari Islands’ vision as “The Home of Island Artistry.”

The festival concluded on a high note with a breathtaking live performance by FKJ, whose genre-bending set at Fari Marina left the audience spellbound. His show captured the spirit of the festival: vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable, and it set the perfect closing chapter for the first edition

Building on this success, the next edition of the Fari Islands Festival is confirmed for 13–16 August 2026. Promising another extraordinary convergence of art, culture, and sustainability, it is set to become one of the must-attend events in the Maldives’ luxury calendar for the vibrant celebration of artistry and island spirit.
