This October, Oaga Art Resort is locked in for a month-long celebration of art; inking and drawing under the Inktober theme, followed by a series of other celebrations that is bringing more color to this celebration!

Inktober – #Dhelitober

Oaga explores Inktober with a unique take inspired by their mystical curator Dheli Foo, elevating Inktober into a resort-wide event throughout the month dubbed Dhelitober. This month, Oaga invites all to take part in the daily Inktober sessions at Art Studio between 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, unlocking a Secret Cocktail Apprentice session at Raa Baa the next day.

Additionally, Oaga Instagram takes over; allowing anyone to take part in Dhelitober by uploading their take on the daily prompts to the “Add Yours” Dhelitober sticker. Everyone is invited to join in to let loose and sketch their hearts out and share their piece through this feature. BUT WAIT! Theres a secret prize! Which you can be eligible for if you make a minimum of 10 entrees within the month.

With Ink spilling across the sandy beaches of Oaga, the hype continues with Inktober pop-ups and surprise Live Art sessions taking place throughout October – Notably, one of the Oaga buggy is getting a live doodle makeover as part of the celebration!

Mental Health Awareness Day

On the tenth of October, Oaga takes a step back to encourage Mental Health Awareness among the Oaga community, encouraging community-based conversations in the afternoon. Fiyoh Club (the resort’s kid’s community) takes a moment to explore through hands-on activities to explore mental health conversations among kids.

World Food Day

Oaga explores sustainability and healthy eating on World Food Day, introducing a healthy food station at dinner in Kaa Kada, and launching Zero- Waste Cocktails crafted from peels, herbs and left-over ingredients.

World Chef Day

October 20th, marks World Chef’s Day, celebrating all culinary experts across the globe. Oaga takes this moment to shine a spotlight on all in-house chefs, a grand celebration with a special dinner at Kaa Kada Beach showcasing signature dishes of their chefs.
