Dusit Thani Maldives has announced an extraordinary culinary residency with Michelin-starred Chef Christophe Chiavola, who will bring his signature French artistry and nature-inspired cuisine to the resort’s stunning oceanfront restaurant, Sea Grill, from 5 to 10 March 2026.

Known for his instinctive, refined, and seasonal approach to gastronomy, Chef Christophe Chiavola has earned international acclaim for his precise technique, elegant plating, and deep respect for natural ingredients. Currently at the helm of the Michelin-starred Le Prieuré Baumanière in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, France, Chef Christophe will take guests at Dusit Thani Maldives on an unforgettable culinary journey where French finesse meets Maldivian inspiration.

Over four days, guests will have the opportunity to experience four exclusive events, each designed to highlight Chef Christophe’s artistry, creativity, and passion for culinary excellence:

• Masterclass by the Ocean – A hands-on cooking class, offering an intimate introduction to Michelin-starred techniques and seasonal flavour philosophies.
• Island Flavours Unveiled – Another small-group masterclass with Chef Christophe, showcasing refined culinary craftsmanship and fresh island produce.

• Shades of the Sea: A Cocktail & Dinner Evening- An elegant sunset affair featuring handcrafted cocktails and a curated multi-course dinner inspired by Chef Christophe’s French heritage and the spirit of the Maldives.
• The Michelin Star Gala- The grand finale of the residency, this one-night-only gala dinner will present Chef Christophe’s most celebrated dishes reimagined with Maldivian flair, served under the stars by the ocean’s edge.
