Peter Pan Comes to the Five-Star Cora Cora Maldives for an Easter Extravaganza Where No One Needs to Grow Up

It’s Freedom Time at Cora Cora Maldives this Easter, where every guest is invited to sprinkle some pixie dust as a Peter Pan theme takes over the resort! In J.M. Barrie’s beloved childhood novel, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy, John, and Michael take to the skies and fly to a magical island full of wonder, lagoons, and childhood joy. From 16th – 23rd April, Cora Cora Maldives will embody this feeling of wonderment and transform into CoraLand – their version of Neverland!
From dawn to dusk, each day is full of thrilling activities for adults and children alike. For younger members of the family, CoRa kids® Club has a fun-filled itinerary full of crafts, games, and tasty treats. For budding artists, there is Neverland Map Making, Tinker Bell Crown Making, Egg Decorating Fiesta, and Pixie Dust Jar Making. Young athletes can partake in Lostboyz vs Pirates Aqua Wars, Pirate Cove Obstacle Challenge, Egg Relay Race, Pixie Hollow Hide and Seek, and Skull Rock Treasure Hunt. Junior sweet experts can enjoy Mermaid Lagoon Cookie Decorating, Neverland Sweet Donut Swing, and Fruit Platter Crocodile Decoration.

When one thinks of Peter Pan, the cinematic masterpiece of Disney’s 1953 Peter Pan springs to mind – an iconic film that will be shown on the first night beneath the stars at Ginger Moon® beach area. Family film nights will continue throughout the week as the resort will also have screenings of Hook (1991) with Robin Williams, Julia Roberts, and Dustin Hoffman, followed by Peter Pan & Wendy (2023) with Jude Law and Yara Shahidi.
“Second Star to the Right: A CoraLand Welcome” sets the magical tone for the week as the whole family can attend the La Dolce Vita Meet & Greet at Acquapazza® Beach with a live magic show and tunes by DJ Smoof. Throughout their stay, families can expect gastronomic adventures with a tone of mystery to continue with a highlight being the “Seven Seas Pirate’s Banquet”, showcasing dishes inspired by the Spice Route at Tazäa® restaurant.
For the Easter weekend itself, families can come together to partake in “Hook’s Hidden Loot: The Great CoraLand Lost Boys’ Egg Hunt”, an island-wide Easter Egg hunt inspired by Peter Pan’s infamous foe, Captain Hook. An indulgent Easter Brunch & Pool Party with a mermaid theme will be on the cards for an aqua celebration with magic while an incredible “Grand Pixie Hollow’s Easter Feast” will take place at Tazäa® restaurant. Named after the home of Tinker Bell and the other fairies, Tazäa® will be full of as much magic as Pixie Hollow in the form of a mystical live magic show accompanied by a live band.

The indulgent Easter Week will be one to remember for families as they come together to celebrate this 121-year-old classic story. Children can allow their imaginations to run free and consider CoraLand to be their own personal Neverland, full of magic and joy. Adults can immerse in the “never grow up” ethos of Neverland and partake in embracing freedom and sheer carefree pleasure.
Cora Cora Maldives offers its guests a one-of-a-kind immersive Maldivian cultural, experiential, and culinary experience.
