Eydhafushi

The Capital of Baa Atoll, Eydhafushi is home to more than 3000 people. After land reclamation, the total area of Eydhafushi is now 58 ha (140 acres). In 1978, Baa Atoll Education Center was opened in the island making it the first Maldivian Government School established outside of Malé.
