Gn. Fuvahmulah

Fuvahmulah is located in the southern part of the Maldives, 494 km from the capital. It is the only island in the Maldives that is an atoll in and of itself, and has a unique geography and biodiversity. Fuvahmulah means “island of the areca nut palms” in the local language, and is an important hub of education and commerce.
