Gaafaru

One of the more recent additions to the list of guesthouse islands in Maldives, Gaafaru is located just outside the actual Kaafu Atoll and is the only island in the small natural atoll known also as Gaafaru. The island’s reef is regarded as a dangerous one by seafarers and has claimed many vessels throughout history. Visitors interested in snorkelling and diving will have no trouble fining many adventure excursions based around these wrecks. Other than diving, the island is popular among those looking for big game fishing excursions.
