Landhoo
Belonging to the Noonu Atoll, Landhoo has remained a centre for stone carving and engraving for several centuries. The island hosts a 20ft mound or Hawitta; the remains of a Buddhist stupa with its origins dating back to over a millennium. Statues have been excavated from the site.
