Aa. Rasdhoo

Rasdhoo Island is located 56 kilometres from the capital city, and is the administrative centre of North Ari Atoll. The island is inhabited by about 1,500 and covers an area of roughly 0.5 km in length and 0.4 km in width. Though Rasdhoo’s main village occupies the majority of land, considerable vegetation carpets the island, providing ample green cover from the tropical heat.
