Velidhoo
Velidhoo is the main economical island in Noonu atoll, and with a population of around 2680 it is the most populous island in the atoll. The island has a Banyan tree which is said to be more than 300 years old, and it is known that sometime during the 5th century Indian travellers has settled in the island. Today most of the islanders are involved in tourism, and fishing. Safari building is also common in the island.
